Despite category headwinds, this film appropriately titled “Love Story” championed a return to brand authenticity with an unapologetic celebration of the longstanding relationship Coca-Cola has always had with food.  Airing in the Super Bowl, this film and campaign gave people a reason to pick up a Coke again.

Looking for innovative ways to make content, I worked outside of the traditional agency model and partnered with independent filmmakers to celebrate Coca-Cola and food. The first film “Family Gathering” celebrates how Coca-Cola and food can bring people together. The second film originally set out to deliver a focused Coca-Cola and food message, but ended up celebrating diversity and inclusion with a subtle love story (and a cheeseburger).
